studio scraps

The studio scraps series has become a large focus for me as a 2-d artist. All the works are inspried by the creative relationships people have with others and the world around them, as well as tattoo culture and tattoo inspired subjects. The pieces pull from those different aspects of creativity: the lover, the lunatic, and the poet (Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'), and focus on images and subjects that invoke passion,uncertainty,simplicity, and beauty. All work done on found/collected wood.
