I am currently working to explore the idea of furniture as sculpture; specifically work that creates and talks about social boundaries and the way people interact with furniture. 

In pieces like "come sit with me", I am working to create something that causes people to feel uncomfortable or intimate with someone else or the piece itself. Almost making classical objects feel a little more "socially awkward".
